Ah yes, at last we get to the point of the whole trip.  The wedding itself was very beautiful, but it also had an informal feel that I really liked.  There were several points when everyone got a chuckle, and a part where we all stood up and vowed to support them in their marriage.  It was a nice service that felt more like you were participating in something with your friends rather than watching a formal ceremony.

The reception was also very nice.  Prime Rib, wine, and beer were all flowing freely.  Then the DJ started and everyone danced.  We were some of the last ones to leave, and a bunch of us kept trying to get invited to the extra-large hot tub in Ryan & Erin's suite, but for some reason they wanted some time alone.  Go figure.  It was a fun night.

New friends from our dinner table,
Melanie & Dennis (I think!)

Here's the happy couple now...

Here we are, throwin' down on the dance floor

No reception would be complete without a human train of some sort

The dancin' ladies again, shakin' the night away.

Is it just me, or do these two look very devious?

Erin was a beautiful bride

They were both great hosts during the band night and the reception.  I can't wait for them to move to Houston and start throwing parties!  (Hint, hint)

I hope Bill will forgive me for using this picture... especially since I put a stupid-looking one of myself in as well.  Was I doing the Dorothy here or what?  "There's no place like home"

Bill, still with the devious look
Rob, caught chugging the White Zen - Go Rob!

They were so patient with me, even though they had their picture taken at least 1,000 times that day.

When the DJ played,
"Let's Get it On", Ryan
took it a bit seriously.

All the boys out for a big dance number
Erin, watching the display & enjoying a rest on the floor

You guessed it, these guys were the groomsmen (and good partiers too!)

You would think this would be a toast to Ryan, but
I think it was actually for the blessing of free beer.
