My poor husband was totally upstaged this year - the Eureka quilt show landed on the same day as his birthday.  His birthday celebrations had to wait until the show shut down!  This is a huge event in the area, a really fantastic quilt show.  This year there were just under 700 quilts on display all over the town.  I tried to take a picture of every one, but don't worry, I didn't put that many on this page!

Our fun little movie theater covered in beautiful quilts The quilts ran all down main street and to the historic village

Eureka! by Sheri Butkowski from Eureka, the pattern was designed by
Jackie Robinson.
Here's Rose in the corner of the shot as we approach the old Rexford Depot

Eric & Rose at one of the historic cabins.  They joined me for about 2 hours of the day. This quilt is my pride & joy.  It was hand- pieced and hand-quilted by my
Gran (Dad's mom) about 30 years ago.  It is a work of art.
