I know, I take pictures of the same scenes over and over, but I never get tired of them. It's just so pretty this time of year.

Sometimes it can be rough to be short.   Sweet Pea still wants her lovin', just like she did when she was little.

You can just see it in her face that she's a sweetheart.  She's so good.   Buddy, taking up more than half of my chair at lunch one day.

I love seeing the lounge chairs being used for their intended purpose!  Dramatic hail storm one night just after I'd gone to bed on the sleeping porch.  It was like Oklahoma!

One of my favorite summer activities is floating our irrigation ditch on float tubes.  It's magical! At the Trego Accordion Festival.  I think this is the 5th year of it.  It was a very hot day.

The headline entertainer teaching the crowd an Irish dance.    For a long time, Buddy wouldn't ride on the tube with me.  He's got the hang of it now though!

Checking on Dan & Lane's fencing project - it's on our land but Dan grazes his animals there. The new gate they just put in.

The fencing crew - which included Lily & Hunter, our child labor.  The gang, celebrating a job well done.

Another float outing, with Captain Buddy at the helm.  Away we go.

The 3rd of 4 male calves born to the longhorn herd this year.  I call this one Casper. The poor guy has a terrible overbite.

The baby of the bunch - so cute!   I call this one Bambi because of those ridiculously huge eyes.

Cool caterpillar.  We looked up what kind of moth it would become, but now I've forgotten - sorry.  The mother Killdeer looking like some kind of mutant crab creature.  She had 3 babies under her wings.

There they go - she couldn't keep them under control for long!  Next are a few quilts I made recently that I was proud of.
