This is the kind of traffic jam I sit in these days.  He is not to be rushed!   Another new baby!!  Daisy's calf looks nearly identical to Dolly's.  They were so silly and
rambunctious that I named them "Thing 1" and "Thing 2".  Mark has other names for them.

Camping at Rocky Gorge, here Larry tries his hand at pebble throwing for Buddy. A mother duck going by with a back full of babies.

Carson tried to snuggle me, so of course Buddy had to get up there.  Very relaxing.   This lonely old man and his chubby dog hug out with us around the fire that evening.

When Buddy really needs attention, he gets up on my desk and gives me this face over the
top of my computer monitor.
Cool old photo reprinted in the newspaper.  It includes not only Larry, but also great family friends
Jon Leonard and Bucky Schermerhorn.

These handsome trespassers showed up for fishing one night - Braden & Carter.  Sometimes Gunner comes running over as we drive by, so Eric gets out
and gives him some pets.  Harmony doesn't want pets, but Gunner sure does.

On a family overnight trip to Bigfork, something we do each year.  This time
it was cold and rainy.  You can't win them all. Here we sit in an outdoor patio
under the heater to listen to great music.
Tommy Edwards is a very talented Bigfork musician.  He's been on The Voice and stuff.

Buddy, nervous even though the river is way over there.   Eric saw these two guys struggling to hang this sign so he went over to help.

Back at home - a whole passel of geese cruising the lake.   We got a surprise visit from Larry, Lisa, and Mark one night as they came up to check out the
longhorn babies.

It was a beautiful evening.  Sweet Pea is SO in love with Buddy, but he does not return the sentiment.  She's BIG!

He barked and made her run, but now she's back for another try at sniffing him.    Home on the range.

Next adventure - the Kalispell Food Truck festival.  My favorite truck won 1st place!
Taqueria Jalisco
Sad times, I got backed into at the post office.  Spoiler alert - by the end
of August it's all fixed at no cost to me, so it ended well.

Our local farmer's markets at the Historical Village have become huge.   Proving the theory that pets & owners start to look alike.

Thing 1 and Thing 2 are almost as interested in Buddy as Sweet Pea.  He hates it!!   Here he's about to let them have it with his bark of fury.

Not a good time to need to use the road.  The clouds doing neat things along the tops of the mountains.

We bought a new camper.  This is our trusty old Road Ranger going to it's new home.
It was a good camper, hope they have many years of enjoyment out of it.
My favorite time of year around the house is when the lilacs bloom and the Monarch butterflies
show up to enjoy them.

We had to start keeping Rocket in the house, he almost caught one!   Three beautiful Loons out on the lake. They are very curious creatures and always come close
when you're near the shore.

My nephew Brodie and his Dad are making their own lures now, doesn't it look great?!  Thing 1 and Thing 2, looking in the window at us.

We were so fortunate that the Red Clay Strays decided to host a Fan Fest here in our small town.
It was a great time.  I hope they make it an annual thing.
On our first night to attend, Thursday night, an informal night where the RCS guys talked about
the songs and told behind the scenes stories. It was my favorite of the 3 things we attended.

   Photos from the informal night.

We skipped the Friday night band, just because we didn't want to overload ourselves.
Here we are for the Saturday band, which we ended up not liking so much.
You can't beat the scenery there though, it's amazing!

The last night was cold and raining and I thought sure there would be no one there.  By the
time I arrived, the overflow parking lot was half full!
We stopped noticing the rain partway through the show, it was super good.

Hearty fans, enjoying the music.  Coming out to be closer to the crowd.

Got this off Facebook.  It shows what a gorgeous spot it is out there.  Beautiful!
