| The month started off nice with beautiful flowers from my
parents. |
It is nice to have the longhorns back after their winter on
the D-C Ranch. |
| |
| The ditch is back on! Buddy's favorite pebble
game can now resume. |
Looks like someone needs attention. |
| |
| This is where he rests each morning after we get out of bed
too soon. (It's always too soon for him!) |
Looking across the lake at our house and some cool
clouds. |
| |
Buddy was soaking up the sun on the front porch but he heard
me taking
pictures so I ruined it. |
Time for a belly rub! |
| |
| It's always fun when the baby geese start showing up. |
Buddy, wearing all his obedience gear that he needs when
Eric isn't with us. |
| |
| The first baby calf of the year! |
Sweet Pea is still sweet. She still comes up to the
car, wanting attention. |
| |
| Another look at the first baby and proud mama Dolly. |
Carter got in the newspaper for his golfing
achievements. He's rocking "Blue Steel!" |
| |
| We babysat Carson for a long weekend. And Buddy
thought it was very LONG! |
More goslings on the move. |
| |
| Beautiful May views. It's so nice to have blue
skies again! |
Dan's horses grazing across the way. |
| |
| Carson was pretty depressed most of the time, and
Buddy was annoyed. It was fun for everyone. |
The only time Carson was happy was during our
walks. |
| |
| Here we are taking him home because we were going to Canada
for the day. |
First stop - ancient Cottonwoods near Fernie, BC. They
were few, but mighty! |
| |
| Heading into the ancient Cottonwoods area. |
Buddy & I providing scale. |
| |
| Eric, giving a lewd twist to the term "tree
hugger". |
The Elk river was running very high with spring runoff. |
| |
| We never get tired of the views in Fernie. |
On a nice walk we took near downtown Fernie. |
| |
| Buddy always looks nervous when we hold him near water or
cliffs. |
He can't make his ears go all the way up when he's
scared. |
| |
| |
| Eric, trying to reassure him. It's not
working. |
Back at home, more gosling photos. They are such
adorable fuzz-balls! |
| |
| Buddy & I on an outing to Ant Flat historical area in
Trego. |
At Aubrey's graduation party at the Timbers Lodge. |
| |
| Larry & Lisa |
Colter, his girlfriend Megs,
Madison, and her husband Chris. |
| |
| Amber & Amy |
Their step-Dad Jim and their Mom Susie. |
| |
| Hayden & Braden |
Lane, Dan, and Tracie |
| |
| Lucas & Kristi |
Rose & I (Eric was in OKC) |
| |
| Beautiful yellow bird on our fence. |
A rainbow ending at my favorite part of our ranch. |
| |
| Cute picture my Mom sent of her trying to snuggle with
Brodie. |
A wall hanging I recently finished using colored pencils and
embroidery. |
| |
| The insulting results that come up when I do an Image
Search on Buddy's cute face. |
It's that time of year again - bike riding through Glacier
National Park. It's the BEST! |
| |
The waterfalls are always at their best this time of
year.
| |
| |
Only Amy, Eric, and I were able to go this year.
The season ended quickly because we had such warm
weather. |
Logan creek |
| |
| |
| |
| |
Eric put water into his bike helmet here to cool
off. |
| |
At first, the road was closed at "The Loop", which
is far too early. While we stood there feeling
bummed out, they removed the barrier - hurray! We ended
up going further than I've ever biked before. |
Soaking up the amazing views. |
| |
| Watching the waterfall rush under the road. |
Me & Amy, enjoying the day. |
| |
| |
| |
| What you can't tell from here is that line is the
road. |
A blow-up of the part where the water flows under Going to
the Sun road. So cool! |
| |
| Most of the guardrails had not been put back up
yet. That was scary! |
Biking through a snow drift. One year we saw a mama
bear and her cub here, no bears this year. |
| |
| Amy having deep thoughts along the way. |
Approaching the weeping wall. That snow drift
toward the right of the photo was blocking the
road. |
| |
| This is a close-up of that same snow drift, with a giant
tractor off to the left for scale. |
The weeping wall was where they stopped us this time, it was
so great to get that far on bikes! |
| |
| |
| |
| |
| |
| I feel so blessed to get to do this year after year.
It's amazing! |
