One of our major projects in July was seeing the new roof finished on The Timbers Lodge. This roof was about 30 years overdue. We're so proud to have protected this wonderful old building with a great quality roof. It's beautiful! This month also marked the start of our new relationship with Hope Church Eureka. They've renovated the basement and have taken over running the Timbers Event Center. It's also now their church home. It's a great partnership!




The lake was at over-full for most of the summer, this is a picture of the water level being higher than the spill-over drain.	Eric, getting an up-close view.


Luke & Kristi usually host July 4th, but were out of town this year. Larry stepped up to offer his place on Glen Lake. A good time was had by all.	Uncle Tim, freshly arrived from PA, having a good time while Eric sports his standard party face.

This strange contraption buzzes low over the area every 2 weeks or so.	Buddy was on the far side of the sprinklers when they came on. For laughs, we called and called him to get him to run the gauntlet. It was hilarious! He dodged and weaved and took huge squirts of water to the face, we're terrible!


This is how Buddy prefers to use the lawn.	My happy place.


We got a surprise visit from cousin Chris & his wife Gwyneth in early July. The boys really enjoyed catching up with him and talking over old times.	For many of us, it was our first time to meet Gwyneth but she fit right in immediately.

Oliver decided to keep Rose's feet warm for her. He is super soft!	The brothers watch a storm come rolling in.

These boys spent about a year living like Chris was another brother, and he has the crazy stories to prove it!	Gwyneth brought flowers to Rose & I when they visited, they were so beautiful!


Lily spends most of her life in this chair, so I got this stick-on hummingbird feeder to entertain her. However, she sleeps through their visits nearly every time. There's one feeding in this shot but she doesn't care.	Turns out I enjoy watching them anyway, so hurray for me. Please pardon the dirty windows!


I treated myself to a Saturday in Sandpoint, ID to do the VIP experience for one of my very favorite bands, Toad the Wet Sprocket. Here I am getting my photo taken with the band. They were very nice!	Friends I made that night include this couple from Kalispell, Alisha & Dave



This was Kim & Ethan from San Antonio	And I lost these people's names, I think they were from Washington state.


Beautiful yellow-winged black birds were in front of the house one day.


This was a fluffy, fussy baby bird, waiting to be fed.	Here's another one, a sibling, waiting for food in the Aspen tree.

	I wasn't here for this, but Dad & Brodie got to do a guided Striper fishing trip in Arkansas and caught a bunch of big fish.
Sweet Pea! And boy, does she live up to her name. She's a lover girl.


Trail cam highlights include this little owl, showing us it's back.	We get hundreds of deer pictures, but those eyes were so sweet I had to keep this one.


There was lots of coyote activity.	Pictures of coyotes are often blurry, they move fast.


We also got a few elk moving though.	And this decent rack on a little buck.
