There's a tourist attraction about 90 minutes north in Canada called Fort Steele.  The boys both went during grade school, but hadn't been back since.  We decided to go one very hot July day.  It was a fun outing.

The Canadian Rockies are especially beautiful to me.

At Fort Steele, a wagon ride is in progress ahead of us.  It's basically a historic town, and
 a military barracks.  It's huge!

A peek into the drug store.  A great exhibit in the museum where they show the dates of big fires and events on this tree stump.

A historic photo of the building... And the preserved building as it is now.

The boys having a look at the river.  It's funny how often they stand in the same poses.

I can see why they picked this spot for a town, it's beautiful.

Having a laugh at the Ferry Office.

In the dry goods store.  Beauty

Checking out the fire tower  The military section of the fort.

And after this we went to Cranbrook for Indian food.  Perfect!!
