Independence Day at Luke & Kristi's Food, family, fellowship, and foolishness.

Jeb's boat floated away!  When we saw it, everyone yelled, "Braden!  Go get the boat!"

Cooper, Carter, and a friend shooting fireworks. Which is why Buddy was at home.  Speaking of Buddy, here he is in a particularly happy moment.

King of all that he surveys.  He loves me!

Let's check in with Lily.  This is how she spends about 22 hours a day, in various locations.  Here she is sleeping next to her raccoon friend.

Amy accompanied me to a concert in Kalispell - Toad the Wet Sprocket.  They were excellent!

They do this drum duet that's amazing,

If you go to this YouTube link, someone recorded it.

It was a really great concert, so glad I got to see them again.   Next we enjoyed a visit from Eric's partners in Whitestone Energy & their families.  We had a
group outing to Cripple Creek Horse Ranch, our good friends Ora Jay & Irene never disappoint.

The crew, loaded up and ready for action.  The driver for one of the carriages was running late,
so Eric had to drive one team.  Suddenly everyone decided to ride in the other wagon!!
Only Casazza family members rode in this wagon!
Dan is experienced with driving a team, so he was on hand to give Eric some pointers.

We're still alive!  Uncle Tim has total faith in Eric.

Byron is keeping an eye on us.  Jodi offered to let Eric keep going, but he politely declined.

At the campsite, getting ready for dinner.  Ora Jay shows the kids how to lasso.

I'd like to see Ora Jay do it that way!!    Supervision.

Lots of technique being employed! As Ora Jay was saying, "Don't rope each other", Eric was already giving chase.  She loved it!

They put on a fantastic meal in no time.

If you let these three alone for any length of time, they're doing business.

Heading back

  Ora Jay needed a co-pilot

The next day our friend Colin very generously offered to share a
huckleberry picking spot with us.  The kids loved it!
The berries were plentiful.

Colin was a great host, pointing out the good spots and bending limbs for the kids.

  My handsome puppy.

Morgan has a quiet spirit like mine, I think Buddy sensed this!
