Sunshine and warm weather returns!!!!

Lodge Bluff Homes phase 2 is progressing!  Lucas is supervising homes #3 and 4, but the
dream team of Mike & Kenna are building them - with excellence as always!

The ditch is back on!  Buddy's favorite thing is when we throw pebbles
into the irrigation ditch for him to chase.

New steers have arrived.  They are fascinated by Buddy. The feeling is not returned.

To be honest, they creep him out.  He'd rather play indoors, thank you.

The first fawn sighting of the year for me!

Stopped by The Timbers Lodge one day when it was decorated for an event.

A visit from Rebecca & Bryce!  The family converged for the occasion.

Eric, Buddy, Katie, and Larry at the corn hole boards.

Introducing Buddy & Bryce, Buddy never likes kids until they are about 12.

Now the corn hole gets serious. If Jeb is involved, then there's a lot of trash talk for sure.

Family gathering around the fire.   A Celtic concert at Indian Springs golf club, provided by our local Sunburst Arts group.

Some of the many swans we were blessed to admire this year on Costich Lake.

My Mom shared this photo of my Dad tending to the screen door
that separates outdoor cat Tom from indoor cat Patch.  He's having
to add a second lock to the door at cat level so they can fight through
 the screen better.

At first I thought this was a large group of swans, but then I saw that half of them were some kind of pelican.

Here's a closer look at them.

Now they're taking off.  They were disorganized at first.

But they quickly got into order Here's a closer look at two of them, heading out to new adventures.

An eagle was perched on our fence one day, just past our garden.  Here he takes flight.

Turns out a red-winged blackbird was pestering him. No doubt protecting a nest.  What a brave little bird, eagles are huge!

One lone pelican came through later in the month, he must have lost his group.
